Our residential programs at Eleina Support are intended to provide a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for children aged 10 to 21 with intellectual and developmental challenges. Our average daily plan includes a variety of educational, recreational, therapeutic, and leisure activities that are adapted to each child’s specific requirements. Our daily schedule is as follows:
Time
- 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM: Wake-up and Morning Routine
- 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Educational Sessions
Activity
- Staff helps chilren with their morning routines, encouraging independence in personal care activities. Breakfast is served, promoting a healthy start to the day.
- Educational activities that are structured and based on Individualized Learning Plans (ILPs). • Specialized programs supervised by licensed special education teachers.
Time
- 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Lunch
- 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Recreational Activities (Indoor/Outdoor)
- 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Individualized Therapy Sessions
Activity
- Nutritious and well-balanced meals are prepared and served, with dietary needs and preferences taken into account.
- Organized leisure activities such as arts and crafts, music, sports, and other age-appropriate games. Participation in adaptive sports or time on our inclusive playground are examples of outdoor activities.
- Sessions of behavioral, occupational, or speech therapy as described in the child’s treatment plan. Individualized attention to meet specific developmental objectives.

- 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Dinner
- 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Community Integration Programs or Outings
- 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Relaxation and Wind-down Activities
Activity
- A time for chatting and sharing a nutritious evening meal.
- Visits to local sites, parks, or community activities to encourage community involvement. Possibilities for socializing and contact with classmates and members of the larger community.
- Relaxing activities like storytelling, silent games, or sensory activities. Bedtime routine preparation.

- 9:00 PM: Bedtime Routine
- 10:00 PM: Lights Out
Activity
- Individualized bedtime routines to guarantee a good night’s sleep. As needed, staff assistance with evening personal care activities.
- A consistent nighttime routine to encourage healthy sleep patterns and overall well-being.
